For the first 20 years of his career, Chef Dan Witherspoon devised delicious versions of the classics,
working his way up from apprenticeship under celebrated Belgian Chef, Henri Bergmans, to executive chef positions in Southern California and the Denver area, thus achieving well-rounded culinary skills.
Classically trained in French cuisine, his specialty has been seasonal cooking: designing menus in harmony with the freshest foods available while keeping current trends in mind.
For the last 12 years, Chef Dan has been one of the preeminent culinary instructors for home cooks in the Denver Metropolitan area. He has been featured in many magazines and newspapers for his recipes, cooking tips and techniques. He was voted “Best Personal Chef 2008” by Colorado Homes and Lifestyles magazine, not for his personal chef services, but for his popularity as a teacher. He is also “The Recipe Doctor” for Indulge Magazine.
