photo-of-spices-200x300 The Gourmet Spoon are experts at providing a host of fun and educational interactive culinary experiences.

We can provide just about any event you can think of with the words culinary or cooking in it! In addition to our public Cooking Classes, we offer private Cooking Demonstrations, Workshops and Culinary Parties.

It’s business, you say? Believe it or not, according to The Wall Street Journal, the hottest trend in the corporate team building industry now takes place in the kitchen. Our Culinary Team Building activities improve communication and company relations and integrate team spirit back into the workplace.

Perhaps it’s not team building that you want but a healthy dose of good clean competition. The Silver Spoon Chef Competition is our version of the Iron Chef. We’ve taken the concept of television’s Iron Chef show and created our own version of this exciting event, geared toward home cooks and fully customized for your particular needs.

A bit shy or you’d prefer to simply learn on your own with one-on-one instruction? No problem! Have Spoon; Will Travel, as we say. We’re happy to offer Private Instruction in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Planning a special event and you’d prefer someone else to do the cooking? As fully licensed caterers, our custom Gourmet Catering simplifies and adds excitement to life’s personal and business events.

Having problems with a particular cooking technique or recipe? Ask the Chef! Chef Dan will be happy to answer all of your puzzling culinary questions.

Check out our blog, Spoonfuls, and read about all things culinary, pick up Tips and Techniques and try your hand at some of our delicious recipes.

Dull knives? Not good for a dull knife is far more dangerous in the kitchen than a sharpened one. Check out our Knife Sharpening schedule and bring in your knives to get them sharpened and honed.
